Gameplay

The gameplay style is similar to the Sonic Advance series for the GBA. In fact, most of the character sprites are taken directly from those games. The game is played solely with the Arrow Keys for movement and the Spacebar to jump, fly, or spindash. Progress is tracked using a simple password system, with the final password to unlock everything being 595313131313131.

Cheats

Cheats are unlocked by completing the game with a specific character, which also grants a level select feature:

Sonic Run 2: Changes Sonic's running animation to the one from the first Sonic Advance. (Unlocked by beating the game with Sonic; only works for Sonic.)

Tails Follow: Makes Tails follow the player's character. (Unlocked by beating the game with Tails.)

Behind: Places the character in the background, behind certain objects. (Unlocked by beating the game with Knuckles.)

Big Cheese: Makes Cheese the same size as Cream. (Unlocked by beating the game with Cream; only works for Cream.)

Jukebox: Adds a music selection feature to the pause menu. (Unlocked by beating the game with Amy; permanently activated.)

Moon Jump: Changes the game's physics to a low-gravity environment. (Unlocked by beating the game with Shadow.)
